SpringWidgets.com To Shut Down

Fox Interactive Media has announced that they will be shutting down their widget platform, SpringWidgets. The platform was launched as a response to the massive popularity of widgets on the company’s MySpace social networking site. The announcement was made late last week. TechCrunch reports it here.
