The current market has severely impacted many companies. Most hard hit are high-tech startups because they are finding it harder to receive lines of credit and venture capital is getting harder to find. This has not been limited to small companies, companies like Yahoo and eBay have laid off over 1,000 employees. Some companies have laid off as much as 25% of their workforce.
