by [FS] on October 22, 2008

We got the tip this morning, but did not want to make the leap, knowing how Jason will react to negative press.  Now that his friend, Michael, over at TechCrunch reported (here), it’s all cool.  Apparently they let go most of their full-time positions.  And, they are planning on outsourcing it to the Philippines (Manila).

THERE IS MORE TO THIS!

This is from an employee

“Mahalo laid off half of their fulltime employees yesterday. They’ve
also been outsourcing their search results to Manilla for the past two
months.”

What a fucktard, raised all that money $20M+ and lays people off in this current econoimic climate. Now wants to pick up south east asian cheap labour to string out the VC’s some more. Get some poor kid living and working in a dorm office in Manilla so he can keep himself in shabby suits. Carry on whining about how sad he was to lay people off and pouring cheap chablis down his neck. Shame on YOU
